Another One bits the dust?

Written by Canadian Nippon at 09:17 13/3-2022

This is why I hate making press releases as they seem to jynx the whole process. The glory, high hopes and the success of training a rider are all gone once again after once again another promising rider simple maxes too low in their main stat to continue to be worth training.

Today that honer went to a promising 217 sprinter in the name of Algernon Monroe but he hasn`t been the first and most likely won`t be the last since my last press release. In total I am have released more then five riders partly trained due to lack on growth or maxed early stats meaning they where no longer of interest to train. This has seen my team go from an inflated 22-23 riders all the way down to fourteen riders as of today.

This leaves me with only two hopeful riders (and I tremble as I write this) that have some potential to be good sprinter or sprinting team mate and another rider that I am all but giving up on since I don`t see the need to train a rider that doesn`t have leader around the same age.

The last two remaining riders are:

Eli Dauphin - The young Canadian was scouted last year and after tough negotiations seen the Canadian rider join the team on day one. He is another young sprinter with good sprint and good technique but might not completely translate into winning stages and races even with a max potential of 227.

  and

Emery Finnigan - This Canadian rider signed within the last twenty-four hours and at the time not a lot was known of the twenty-three year old. That being said we quickly learned that he is going to be a solid addition to the sprint team as he should be able to take the role of leadout away from Guillot allowing the French rider more time to focus on Prologues, tours and Time trials races; which are more his overall strengths. Finnigan is reported to be an max potential around 217 sprinter but will never lead the sprint team.

And the rider that I am not even going to bother training is:

Geo Tranberg- Young Danish rider is a clear cut leadout sprint signed with the eye towards the future. He should be a base of the train in the future and maybe even the near future depending on the training. Once again he is an 217 max potential rider and with very strong sprinting potential.

While he as great potential as LOSP; as I mentioned above I don`t have a need for another one on my team when I already have three of them of the same or similar age of the Captain Watts.

I won`t lie this is making my interest in the game faulter as I am running out of time to try and find another talent to replace my aging team. Yeah, I have two or three season before I am completely at the break point but with the run of luck I am having atm; this feels like a losing cause.
